Former US skating champ Christopher Bowman found dead. I was saddened to hear this, but the suspected cause does not come as a surprise. Bowman, aka Bowman the Showman, was a fantastic skater with natural talent, but unfortunately he suffered from a lack of discipline and a penchant for hard living. In Christine Brennan's book Inside Edge he is quoted: "You want to screw up your life forever, what I did was the way to do it."
